The Senate will on Thursday, October 16, 2025, conduct the screening of Professor Joash Ojo Amupitan (SAN), the nominee of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the position of Chairman, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
This was contained in a statement issued on Wednesday by the Director of Information, Mr. Bullah Audu Bi-Allah, from the Office of the Secretary, Research and Information, National Assembly.
According to the statement, the screening exercise will take place at the Senate Chamber, National Assembly Complex, Abuja.
The Directorate urged members of the Senate Press Corps to provide full media coverage of the event to ensure wide public awareness, while television stations were encouraged to offer live broadcast of the session.
It further expressed appreciation for the continued cooperation and professional conduct of journalists covering activities of the National Assembly.
