Ramadan: Hon. Kabiru Amadu Feeds Families in Gusau/Tsafe Constituency

Hundreds of families in Gusau/Tsafe federal constituency received a Ramadan boost on Thursday as Hon. Kabiru Amadu (Mai Palace), Chairman of the House Committee on Sports, distributed essential food items to vulnerable households.

 

The gesture, aimed at easing the economic burden on residents during the holy month, targeted widows, the elderly, youths, and community leaders. Recipients described the intervention as timely and life-changing.

“I have struggled to make ends meet this Ramadan. Receiving these items brings relief and joy to my family,” said Aisha Ibrahim, a widow in Gusau.

 

Hon. Amadu said the initiative reflects his commitment to people-centered leadership and the values of compassion and generosity that define Ramadan.

 

“Leaders must walk the talk. Ramadan is a season of sacrifice and support, and I am determined to ensure my constituents observe it with dignity,” he said.

 

The lawmaker also reaffirmed his focus on youth empowerment, sports development, and community-driven projects, promising continued support for the welfare of his constituents.
