2027: ADC Aspirant Ogbu Picks Nomination Form for Ado Assembly Seat

A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, Nelson Ogbu, has picked his nomination form to contest the Ado State Constituency seat in the Benue State House of Assembly ahead of the 2027 general elections.

 

Ogbu obtained the form at the party’s state secretariat in Makurdi, in compliance with the guidelines of the African Democratic Congress.

 

The exercise drew the presence of party leaders, stakeholders, supporters and members from Ado Local Government Area, who turned out in large numbers to demonstrate support for his ambition.

 

Speaking shortly after picking the form, Ogbu appreciated party leaders, stakeholders and the ADC executive committee in Ado Local Government for the confidence reposed in him.

 

He said his aspiration was driven by a desire to deliver quality representation and grassroots-oriented leadership to the people of the constituency.

 

According to him, he remains committed to the ideals of inclusive leadership, youth empowerment and people-centred governance.

 

Ogbu also assured his supporters of sustained engagement as the 2027 electioneering process gathers momentum.

 

“God on our side,” he declared.
