AIBEN CEO Dr. Andy Elerewe Stresses Wellness and Nation-Building at NUJ FCT 2025 Football Tournament

The Chief Executive Officer of AIBEN Properties Ltd,Chief Dr. Andy Elerewe, has restated his company’s commitment to partnership, community wellness, and nation-building, stressing that AIBEN’s mission extends beyond building houses to building stronger, healthier societies.

 

Dr. Elerewe made this known in Abuja while delivering his speech at the recently concluded Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) FCT Council 2025 Football Tournament, where he described the collaboration with the NUJ as both a privilege and a responsibility.

 

“For us at AIBEN, it is vital to create platforms where people can come together to network, foster wellness, and enjoy life beyond work,” he said.

 

The AIBEN CEO praised the NUJ FCT Council as a “very trustworthy institution,” noting that the partnership was not just about corporate sponsorship but about shared values of service, wellness, and unity.

 

He revealed that AIBEN has supported the NUJ FCT Football Tournament for the past two years and pledged sustained commitment.

 

“We are very happy with what has happened so far. The warm and exciting atmosphere here is exactly what we aim to foster,” Dr. Elerewe said.

 

Commending the NUJ leadership, he particularly applauded the foresight of the council chairperson, Comrade Grace Ike, for initiating a sporting program that blends recreation, networking, and professional skill exchange.

 

“Kudos should be given for creating an initiative that truly enhances wellness and camaraderie among members,” he noted.

 

Dr. Elerewe emphasized that AIBEN’s social responsibility is designed to promote fun, exercise, and social interaction as part of a holistic approach to wellbeing. He noted that tournaments like the NUJ FCT competition provide invaluable platforms for improving physical and mental health while fostering unity among professionals.

 

“We believe health is wealth, and better platforms like this encourage a healthier lifestyle,” he remarked.

 

He also used the occasion to remind participants that AIBEN’s vision of development is not limited to physical structures but extends to nation-building through social investments.

In the much-anticipated NUJ FCT Council 2026 Novelty Match, AIBEN Properties defeated Nigeria Customs 3–1 in what many described as a spirited and entertaining encounter.

 

The victory was celebrated as a symbolic reminder of AIBEN’s philosophy of combining hard work with play, business with wellness, and growth with unity.

 

Earlier in her remarks, the Chairman of the NUJ FCT Council, Comrade Grace Ike, expressed gratitude to AIBEN Properties for taking up the role of title sponsor of the tournament.

 

She described AIBEN’s support as a strong demonstration of corporate citizenship, aligning with the NUJ’s vision of community development, youth empowerment, and professional networking.

Comrade Ike further commended all participants from the players to the coaches and tournament officials for their commitment and discipline.
